FAQ’s & Policies

  • Skin Therapy has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so through the link provided in your confirmation email.

    Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time will incur a charge of 50% of the appointment cost, billed to the card you have on file.

    Please note that arriving 20 minutes past your appointment time is considered a “no-show” and you will be subject to pay 50% of my appointment regardless of if your esthetician can still fit you in.

  • Avoid any exfoliation, whether it be physical scrubs, chemical exfoliants (like glycolic or salicylic acid) and retinols one week before your facial.

    Plan your facial on a day where you can go makeup free and stay relaxed afterwards.

    Don’t worry about washing your hair! Your hair will end up getting a little greasy during the facial massage.

  • It’s best to avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours after your facial.

    Make sure you drink lots of water, specifically warm water with lemon, to rehydrate and stay balanced after facial massage and lymphatic drainage.

    If you receive a facial in the evening, feel free to skip your nighttime routine. Otherwise, continue your skincare routine per your esthetician’s recommendations.

  • Absolutely! Caring for sensitive or sensitized skin is our passion and priority. We take extra steps during our facials to keep your skin free from irritation. Rest assured that any products we use or recommend are not only suitable for sensitive skin, but also help fortify and protect it.

  • We perform extractions only if necessary and wanted. We are very selective with the amount and type of extractions we do to prevent inflammation. We may or may not recommend extractions depending on your skin. Regardless, if you prefer to go without we are happy to accommodate.

  • Yes, we perform facials on everybody! Side note, don’t shave right before your facial as it can cause irritation!
